Fundraising Drive 2026
Psyched! Radio San Francisco presents: Spring Fundraising Drive 2026, our annual listener-powered fundraising drive running April 7 through April 21. Every donation is matched dollar-for-dollar while matching funds remain, so your gift doubles. This is the one stretch of the year where a single contribution can carry twice the weight—twice the support for a station that exists because the community insists it should.
Psyched! Radio is nonprofit and volunteer-run, built for discovery and for the parts of local culture that do not fit into corporate playlists. But we are also more than a stream. We are an active part of the music ecosystem: presenting year-round shows, building community lineups, and creating real stages for artists to be seen and heard. Psyched! Fest expands that mission across multiple nights, multiple rooms, and multiple scenes. Psyched! Records extends it even further—supporting releases, elevating emerging bands, and helping artists reach listeners beyond the usual gatekeepers.
Your donation sustains that full circuit of support. It covers the practical backbone: streaming and web services, studio upkeep, equipment maintenance, licensing, and the tools our volunteers rely on to keep shows consistent, clean, and alive. It also supports the capacity to keep taking risks—programming that follows scenes as they evolve, and live events that turn listeners into community.

Psyched! Radio San Francisco is a volunteer-powered independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit radio station founded in San Francisco by a diverse community of music lovers, artists, and cultural workers. What began as a DIY internet radio project has grown into a platform for independent music, journalism, film, and live events that connects artists and audiences locally and internationally.
Today, Psyched! Radio hosts dozens of radio programs and works with a network of volunteer DJs, journalists, photographers, filmmakers, and producers who contribute their time to keep independent radio alive. Together, this community creates programming that highlights underground music, emerging artists, and global sounds often overlooked by traditional media.
Beyond broadcasting, Psyched! Radio produces concerts and cultural events throughout the Bay Area, including Psyched! Fest, a multi-venue festival that brings artists from around the world while supporting local venues and creative communities. Through Psyched! Records we release music from independent artists, while Psyched! Films documents performances through live sessions and video productions. Psyched! Press expands this work through journalism and cultural writing.
